Gargnano & Bogliaco

We are located in the hamlet of Villa Bogliaco a few hundred metres from the village of Bogliaco, best known for the international sailing competition of Centomiglia and not far from Villa di Gargnano, a tiny and charming marina along a stretch of the coast of Western Lake Garda that still retains the flavor and scent of the past.
A land of great traditions, rich in ancient and more recent history. Right next to the Centro Nautico is the eighteenth-century Bettoni Palace, with its splendid Italian gardens and those who stay at our Resort Nautica San Carlo have the privilege to admire it from above.
The whole area has lovely landscapes to discover: sorrounded by hills covered with ancient olive trees you can still admire gardens of lemons, once a real resource for the inhabitants.
You can take the promenade leading to Gargnano centre with its bars and small shops, its art treasures such as the cloister of San Francesco, which dates back to the 12th century, the Romanesque church of San Giacomo, reacheable by a pleasant walk after crossing the centre and the beach shaded by olive trees and Villa Feltrinelli now become a 5 star hotel, that between October 1943 and April 1945 was the residence of Benito Mussolini.
